He spent more than 25 years as a C-level executive at public and private companies before moving into venture, including serving as CEO of Gnip, a large provider of social data acquired by Twitter in 2014, and then as GM & VP of Twitter's Data & Enterprise Solutions business. Earlier in his career he held executive roles at Aquent, including Chief Operating Officer overseeing operations across 17 countries, and began as a management and technology consultant at EDS, Oracle, and IBM. He is known for his work on data and platform strategy, has spoken on data's role in health and safety at the White House and United Nations, and is based in Boulder, Colorado.
