Bruce Roth is Principal of Roth Pharma Consulting LLC, which he founded in 2018. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Small Molecule Drug Discovery and co-leader of Research at Genentech, and as Vice President of Chemistry at Pfizer, following early career roles at Warner-Lambert/Parke-Davis. Roth is the inventor of Lipitor and has received the Perkin Medal, the American Chemical Society Award for Creative Invention, and the National Academy of Sciences Award for Chemistry in Service of Society, among other honors; he holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Iowa State University and has served as a senior advisor to Frazier Life Sciences and on multiple scientific advisory boards.
