In 1968 he founded CGA Computer, Inc., an IT consulting and software provider that went public in 1969 and was later taken private through a leveraged buyout before its divisions were sold to Computer Associates and CapGemini. He subsequently co-founded Updata Software and Sablesoft, which were acquired by Online Software and Platinum Technologies. He is a graduate of Rutgers University.
