Arlene Dickinson is the Founder and General Partner of District Ventures Capital, a venture capital fund investing in food and beverage and health and wellness companies. She is also the founder of Changemakers, a Canadian-based operator of marketing, communications, and engagement agencies, and has appeared as a venture capitalist on the television series Dragons' Den for 18 seasons. A three-time best-selling author, Dickinson has been inducted into the Southern Alberta Business Hall of Fame and the Marketing Hall of Legends, and served as an Honorary Captain of the Royal Canadian Navy for over 10 years.
