Investment thesis
Wieland Capital invests its own multi-generational family wealth with a long-term, partnership-oriented approach. Its main focus is on established, sustainably profitable mid-sized companies in the German-speaking DACH region, acquired sector-agnostically and typically alongside founders and management in succession situations, with occasional growth or venture capital deals. Equity per transaction usually ranges from about €2M to €7M, with co-investors joining for larger deals. The firm also invests in existing residential real estate in Berlin, Leipzig, and Dresden, managed by its own property management team, as well as forestry and other liquid and illiquid assets. It works closely with management on strategy but avoids day-to-day involvement and faces no pressure to sell.
