Investment thesis
Wieland Capital targets mid-sized, sustainably profitable companies with an established market position in the German-speaking DACH region, investing on a sector-agnostic basis. It typically backs founders and management in succession situations, and occasionally growth or venture capital opportunities. Equity per transaction is usually between EUR 2 and 7 million, with co-investors for larger deals. As a long-term, partnership-oriented family office it acts quickly and reliably, offering tailored transaction structures, collaborates closely on strategic and financial decisions without interfering in day-to-day operations, and faces no time pressure to exit its holdings. It also invests in existing residential real estate in Berlin, Leipzig and Dresden, plus forestry and other assets.
