Kathleen Cohen brings over 25 years of clinical research and development experience to her role leading Clinical Development Operations at Avalo. She previously spent over two decades at a global CRO and holds a PharmD from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

Mona Minhas is a Kauffman Fellow, a member of Class 31 of the two-year venture capital leadership program run by Kauffman Fellows. The program's member directory lists them at BDC Thrive Venture Fund in Canada.

Amy leads Volta's community engagement, events, and the day-to-day experience of its physical space. A Tourism Management graduate of NSCC Lunenburg Campus, she has held event and operations management roles across hospitality and the startup ecosystem since 2010.

Andy directs Volta's AI Productivity Lab, helping Atlantic Canadian SMEs adopt practical AI tools through experimentation, training, and support. His specialties include process and organizational design, rapid prototyping, and knowledge translation.

Bader keeps Volta running efficiently, supporting member experience, community engagement, and internal operations. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in HR Management and a Master of Applied Health Services from Saint Mary's University in Halifax.

Christian leads Volta's AI Productivity Lab programs, helping Atlantic Canadian businesses turn AI into practical growth outcomes. A former GM and three-time Head of Growth, he previously served as a Growth Partner at Volta and Venture Partner at Tidal Venture Partners, and runs Grovi.io.

Laurie oversees finance and administration at Volta, bringing more than 25 years of experience with public and private mining and technology companies in financial, corporate, and investor relations roles. She has served in leadership roles with Nova Scotia mining associations.

Matt is Volta's CEO, leading initiatives to support founders and grow their companies. He has over 20 years in product development and marketing, was Director of Product at QRA and co-founder/CPO at Swept, and is an alumnus of Propel and 500 Startups.

Samuel Lamothe Girard is a coordinator and strategic advisor in investment capital at Quebec's Ministere de l'Economie, de l'Innovation et de l'Energie (MEIE), overseeing investment capital initiatives and having evaluated indirect investments in venture and early-stage funds.

Shrilakshmi (Shri) Subramanian is a growth coach at Volta supporting early-stage technology startups through 1:1 coaching. With over 16 years in applied AI and digital transformation, she has been a General Partner at Venture Grade and holds degrees from BITS Pilani and a Master's in Technology Entrepreneurship from Saint Mary's University.

Sihan Shi is Principal and Founder of Sihan Shi Consulting Corp., a Toronto-based firm helping startups and scaling tech organizations. She previously worked at TWG (acquired by Deloitte Canada) and OneMethod, with expertise in product and marketing across fintech, social enterprise, and Web3.

Tapajyoti (Tukan) Das is CEO and co-founder of a stealth AI startup in Halifax. He previously co-founded and led LeadSift, a VC-funded startup that was acquired, and studied text mining and NLP at Dalhousie University.

Kevin Lind is a biotechnology executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience who led Longboard Pharmaceuticals through its $2.6 billion acquisition by Lundbeck. He was previously EVP and CFO at Arena Pharmaceuticals and chairs the board of Apnimed.

Laura leads how founders and builders experience Volta's residency and community. She was CEO and co-founder of Side Door, a Halifax booking and ticketing platform she grew for nearly a decade, and has cultivated communities across the arts and music industries. She previously served on Volta's board.
