Rhiannon Davies, a New Brunswick native, has over 22 years of international business experience across multiple continents. She serves as a mentor and angel investor and is working to build a venture fund in the region promoting diversity in the early-stage ecosystem.

Spent over two decades at a leading global CRO in various project management and operational positions, including leading the program for the first FDA-approved angiogenesis-targeting therapy.

Director of Community Experience at Volta and CEO/Co-Founder of resident startup Side Door. She has over a decade in the arts, having worked with Music Nova Scotia and the Halifax Jazz Festival.

Samuel Lamothe Girard is a coordinator and strategic advisor for investment capital at Quebec's Ministere de l'Economie, de l'Innovation et de l'Energie (MEIE), overseeing investment initiatives and previously evaluating indirect investments in venture and early-stage funds.

A Growth Coach at Volta supporting early-stage technology startups through 1:1 coaching. With over 16 years in applied AI and digital transformation, she has contributed to organizations like Venture Grade as a General Partner and holds degrees from BITS Pilani and a Master's in Technology Entrepreneurship from Saint Mary's University.

Sihan Shi is principal and founder of Sihan Shi Consulting Corp., a Toronto firm helping startups and scaling tech organizations. She has over a decade in product development and marketing, with prior work at TWG (acquired by Deloitte Canada) and OneMethod.

Tapajyoti (Tukan) Das is CEO and co-founder of a stealth AI startup in Halifax. He previously co-founded and led LeadSift, a VC-funded startup that was acquired, and studied text mining and NLP at Dalhousie University.

Seasoned biotechnology executive with over 20 years of leadership experience. Most recently President, CEO, and Board Member of Longboard Pharmaceuticals, leading its transformation and $2.6 billion acquisition by H. Lundbeck A/S in 2024. Previously Executive Vice President and CFO at Arena Pharmaceuticals. Career includes investment banking at Lehman Brothers and healthcare investing at TPG, with over a billion dollars in capital raised.
