Investment thesis
The Firehood backs women-led B2B technology companies with the potential to scale globally. Through its membership model it combines investment with community support: peer-to-peer 'Firehood Circles' spanning blockchain, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, ventures and software engineering; monthly pitch and social events; and participation in major Canadian and international tech festivals. It plans to launch a 'Prosperity Platform' connecting members to jobs, funding and mentors. The firm invites women founders with pitch decks to reach out, positioning itself as a network, investor and resource hub for underrepresented technical founders.
