Protexxa

Protexxa is a business-to-business software-as-a-service cybersecurity company whose platform applies artificial intelligence to identify, evaluate, predict and resolve cyber issues affecting employees. Its core product, Protexxa Defender, scans for information about an individual that has been shared online without consent, including on the dark web, and then produces guidance and remediation steps.

The platform is structured around three stages: identification of exposed information, evaluation and prediction through reporting, and resolution, in which Defender helps remove threats, reduce vulnerabilities and connect users with additional resources. Reporting is split by audience: employees receive a personalized report visible only to them, containing tips and next steps for improving their online safety, while organizations receive aggregated, anonymized data providing an organization-wide view of vulnerabilities, attack surface and available fixes. The company states that Defender does not sell or share user information.

Business model

Protexxa sells to organizations through two offerings: full access to the Defender platform, bundled with customer success support and industry-trained cybersecurity professionals who help teams implement it, and a services line covering cyber program management and support and full cybersecurity consulting.
