Investment thesis
TechAngels facilitates angel investments into early-stage technology startups in Romania and South-Eastern Europe, focusing mainly (but not exclusively) on web, mobile, embedded software, hardware and meditech projects. It looks for experienced teams with proven track records, and projects that have at least a prototype or have reached product/market fit. Typical investments range between EUR 10,000 and EUR 200,000, deployed by individual angels or via syndicates. Beyond funding, the group educates founders and helps new business angels make their first investments through workshops, shared member experience and guidance from seasoned angels.
