TCI pursues a value-oriented, fundamental investment strategy focused on strong global businesses with sustainable competitive advantages. It applies a private equity style of analysis, conducting deep fundamental research and engaging constructively with company management over a long-term horizon. The firm is opportunistic, occasionally investing in corporate transformations and special situations, and will use shareholder activism when appropriate to drive outcomes. Its Master Fund is deliberately highly concentrated in order to maximize alpha.
