Kai Rintala is Managing Director of Taaleri Energia, a Helsinki-headquartered renewables fund manager with €1.2 billion in assets under management, a team of more than 50, and a 9.3 GW portfolio spanning onshore wind, photovoltaic solar, and battery storage across Europe and the US. He previously spent over a decade at KPMG in Helsinki and London, advising public and private sector clients on infrastructure strategy and transactions across energy, transport, and social infrastructure. Before KPMG, he worked in academia for six years, teaching and researching infrastructure public-private partnerships.
Ville Rimali is Investment Director for Energy Storage at Taaleri Energia. He previously held roles at Wärtsilä Energy, including Director of Growth, Development and Business Support, where he led a team responsible for strategy implementation, market and project development, services agreements sales, and digital solutions across Europe and Africa, and earlier worked in business development on projects including battery energy storage systems. He holds M.Sc. degrees in power systems and economics.
Stephen Ross is Head of Investor Relations at Taaleri Energia, with 27 years of investment management experience and 14 years in private equity. He has raised capital for private equity strategies including buyout, growth, real estate, credit, venture capital, and infrastructure, managing fundraising processes from strategy through closing.
