Investment thesis
SRM Ventures backs fintechs building credit products — embedded finance, B2B credit, verticalized credit, and structured debt — at the Seed to Series A stage once the company has early traction. Beyond writing checks, the firm allocates capital directly into a startup's credit portfolio in exchange for equity and provides a full credit infrastructure platform: regulated escrow, Pix and payment structures, CVM-authorized funds including dedicated FIDCs to lower funding costs, securitization instruments such as CRIs and CRAs, and distribution to qualified investors. Drawing on over 20 years of credit expertise and R$7bn under management, it aims to support portfolio fintechs from their first credit portfolio through to liquidity and exit.
