Raised in Australia, Warren Hui launched his first startup at 15 and earned a BA from USC before starting his finance career at Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division. He co-founded Soul Ventures and now leads AI-focused investments at Type One Ventures.

Josh Kovac is a Principal at Soul Ventures, where he works on investments and research in AI and technology companies. He previously founded a digital marketing startup and served as Chief Strategy Officer at a gaming company. He holds a Law degree from the University of Exeter and certificates in Finance (PE/VC) from the University of Oxford.

Benny So is a Principal at Soul Ventures, where he focuses on artificial intelligence investments. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the startup ecosystem, holding roles at mobile app and healthcare startups, and later worked in marketing consulting advising clients on digital strategies. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Digital Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Abdo John Hajj started his investing career in private equity consulting with firms including Spell Capital Partners, Atar Capital, Tresalia Capital, and HIG Capital, and made early angel investments in deep technology startups. In 2019 he co-founded a tech-enabled stationery business, and he later served as a Partner at Outlander VC before becoming a General Partner at Type One, where he focuses on space technology and deep tech. He holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California.

Makio Inui has over 23 years of venture finance experience across Tokyo and Hong Kong, working as an equity analyst and investment banker focused on the telecoms, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors. He previously held roles at Salomon Brothers and UBS, where he worked on transactions including the NTT privatization, NTT DoCoMo IPO, and the Vodafone sale to Softbank. Since 2013 he has supported fundraising and listing preparation for companies such as Paidy and INFORICH.

Tiffany Sun previously worked at MVision Private Equity Advisers, where she led project management and distribution efforts advising GPs on primary, direct, secondary, and co-investment transactions, and served on the global funds and deals origination team handling due diligence and execution. Earlier in her career she worked at Lazard Asset Management and Enhanced Investment Product, and she is a Limited Partner at Vibrant Ventures. She holds a bachelor's degree from Les Roches International School and has more than six years of experience in the financial industry.

Patrick Ng is an investment professional focused on technology companies. He previously worked in equity research at Credit Suisse, served as CFO at a VC-backed startup, and held roles in the investment department of a listed Chinese tech company and in the deal advisory department at KPMG. He holds CFA and CPA qualifications and a Bachelor in Economics & Finance from the University of Hong Kong.
