Kurt has three decades of investing and operating experience. After joining Polar Equity Partners in 2012 he led a majority investment in Invafresh and became its Co-CEO, growing the company to market leadership before a successful exit in 2019. He previously held leadership roles in corporate finance and consulting and served as CEO of C.A. Bancorp; he began his career at IBM and holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School.

Hingyee handles external and internal senior communications for the team. She previously worked at Actis LLP and BNP Paribas and began her administrative career at IHG Hotels & Resorts; she holds a BA in English Language and Comparative Literature from the University of Kent.

Reid is the co-founder of Canada's largest hedge fund business and led the private equity business of an affiliated entity. Over four decades he served as director or CEO of many companies including Enghouse Systems, TIO Networks and Invafresh. He began his career at Helix Investments and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

A career entrepreneur, financial professional and private equity investor, Richard has served as chairman, director or corporate officer of many public and private companies over four decades, assisting with turnarounds, growth and successful sales. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Sobia has over a decade of experience in accounting, tax and financial reporting, with roles at the Schwartz Reisman Group, the Investment Corporation of Dubai and BDO Canada. She began her career at Devon Energy, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and is a CPA.

Tom served as President and CEO of Canada's largest hedge fund business from 2006 until his retirement in 2024, having previously spent over ten years at an affiliated private equity business. He began his career at Ernst & Young, is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Western University.
