Skolkovo is Russia's largest innovation center, playing a role in strengthening the national economy by helping startups develop domestic high-tech products for industry, medicine, transport, information technology, and other fields. Its ecosystem provides client-oriented services and support measures for innovative sectors, offering dozens of products ranging from acceleration and support programs for private investors and university startups to foreign patenting and customs clearance for exports and imports. Skolkovo also serves as a prototype of a future city and hosts the Skoltech institute, a top young university, and the largest technopark in Eastern Europe.
