As a Honduran national entrepreneurship and small business service, SENPRENDE channels public funding to small producers, entrepreneurs and rural organizations to strengthen national production and food security. Through the AGROEMPRENDE program, run jointly with FUNDER, it provides credit for basic grains, coffee, cacao, livestock, aquaculture and related agroindustry and microenterprises. Its focus centers on reactivating rural producers affected by climate shocks and economic disruptions, reaching multiple departments across the country and supporting agricultural and productive activities that generate employment and local economic development.
