Investment thesis
Reservoir operates on the belief that patient capital and a flexible investment mandate provide competitive advantages in achieving superior long-term risk-adjusted returns. Its primary objective is to find or create opportunities with asymmetric risk/reward profiles that offer downside protection and meaningful upside optionality, often in out-of-favor areas undergoing fundamental change or facing a scarcity of capital. The firm invests directly in securities and structured private investments, builds platform companies alongside industry specialists, and seeds new hedge funds and private equity firms in which its own funds retain ownership or economic interests.
