McFayden has served on numerous nonprofit and educational boards, including those of Davidson College and Central Piedmont Community College, and her recognitions include US Banker's "25 Most Powerful Women in Banking."

The company employs 3,000 people across 10 cities in the US, as well as locations in the UK and Brazil, offering content and digital services related to home, health, travel, finances, education, and entertainment.
