Investment thesis
Ptarmigan Capital is an employee-owned boutique investment manager focused on highly personalised wealth management for private clients rather than venture investing. Through its Private Investment Office it provides discretionary, bespoke portfolio management, limiting each portfolio manager to 20 clients to maintain close relationships, and offers ancillary family-office-style services. It also manages the Ptarmigan Global Equity Fund, a concentrated portfolio of 25 to 30 high-conviction global equities blending growth, value, cyclical, and defensive stocks to form an 'all weather' portfolio aimed at long-term capital growth. Its culture emphasises disciplined investment thinking, employee ownership, and a client profit share that aligns interests.
