Odyssey's investment philosophy rests on three pillars: prioritizing people above all else when evaluating opportunities, identifying the 'big idea' in each investment (with some traits constant and others shifting with technology, market opportunity and competition), and valuing teamwork and enjoyment throughout the startup journey. The firm sees itself as joining a startup's team once it invests. Its mission is to fund and support Greek startups so they can become successful, profitable and valuable global enterprises. Its first fund, Odyssey Jeremie Partners, counted the European Investment Fund (managing the Jeremie Holding Fund) among its limited partners and Eurobank Ergasias SA as anchor investor.
