Cindy Chaplin has more than 40 years of experience in trust and estate management, handling trust administration tasks such as accounts, self-assessment tax returns, and inheritance tax returns. Her background covers both onshore and offshore trusts as well as charities. She is a Chartered Banker, a member of STEP, and licensed for Probate by the ICAEW.

Darren Austin-Smith leads trust services, focusing on trust and estate tax compliance, accounting, and administration, including capital gains tax reporting and inheritance tax planning. He advises clients on trusts, family investment companies, and family limited partnerships, and his team provides family office services. He is a full STEP member and an ACIE affiliate member.

David Poole is a Senior Adviser at Smith Square Partners who previously led Citi Private Bank's UK and Ireland operations. He provides advisory services to corporate finance and legal firms, as well as to families, and serves as trustee for educational, charitable, and religious trusts. His background includes roles as a board member at the BBA/UK Finance, governance positions at Lancing College and Westminster School, and involvement with various professional and institutional advisory boards.

Giovanni Borzellino is a finance and operations specialist with experience managing complex organisations, optimising working capital, and leading large-scale projects across global financial institutions. At New Quadrant he oversees ongoing operational and financial improvement and works with the Executive Team on shaping the business.

Graham Barry has more than 25 years of experience in trust management. He advises clients on administering trusts, including completing annual tax returns and accounts, and handles inheritance tax reporting for both UK and offshore trusts. A member of STEP, he also works on probate and estate administration.

Hope Gale supports the daily administration and management of trusts, working alongside senior trust managers and directors. Her responsibilities include preparing documentation, communicating with clients, and helping with regulatory compliance. She has completed the initial stage of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualification and is focused on developing her expertise in trust administration, estate planning, and fiduciary matters.

Jennifer McKendrick is an associate who supports partners on private client matters, including UK estate and succession planning, trusts, probate, and Court of Protection work. She joined New Quadrant in January 2022 as a paralegal, completed a training contract at the firm, and qualified as a solicitor in July 2024. She holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in the Administration of Estates and is studying for a STEP diploma.

Keira Moore is an associate who works with the firm's partners on private client matters, including estate and succession planning, trusts, probate, and Court of Protection work. She qualified as a solicitor in March 2025 at a law firm in Hampshire and joined the firm in March 2026. She is pursuing a STEP diploma, having completed three of the four required modules.

Louise Squirrell works as a Trust Supervisor, assisting the trust team's senior manager and directors with accounting, administration, and personal and trust tax compliance. She is a STEP member working toward her full qualification.

Maisy Greaves earned a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2024 and joined New Quadrant as a Paralegal in 2025 after completing a summer internship at the firm. She supports the Legal Team with tasks such as legal drafting, preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, and legal research.

Molly McDonald previously worked as a probate paralegal at a city firm, assisting with the administration of domestic and international estates, including contentious matters. She now supports Private Client fee earners with legal tasks including drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Trust Deeds, conducting legal research, and liaising with professional bodies.

Natalie Ruse is an Office Support Manager at New Quadrant Partners Limited. She has experience working in the legal services industry, with skills in filing, legal assistance, phone etiquette, Microsoft Word, and office administration.

Orla Hardiman is a Trust Administrator who supports the administration and management of trusts, assisting senior trust managers and directors with documentation, client liaison, and regulatory compliance. She recently completed an LLB Law with Business degree and is working toward a Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualification, with a focus on trust administration, estate planning, and fiduciary matters.

Robert Smeath is a private client lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in estate, trust, and tax planning. A qualified solicitor holding a Diploma in Financial Planning, he advises individuals, families, and their businesses on tax-efficient asset structuring, including the use of Business Property Relief and Agricultural Property Relief. He also works on succession planning, particularly for business owners.

Stephen Grace has more than 30 years of experience in the private client field. At New Quadrant he leads the trust management team, handling accounting, tax reporting, investment performance monitoring, and the preparation of trust and personal tax returns. He works with clients who have complex needs and advises families on preserving assets held within trust structures.
