DBN is Namibia's development finance institution, mandated to play a leading role in the country's sustainable economic development. It provides business finance and SME loans across sectors including agriculture, climate adaptation, contractors, energy, land and housing, local authorities, mining and quarrying, manufacturing, transport and logistics, and tourism and hospitality. The bank operates guided by principles of service, integrity, transparency, and excellence, and runs programmes supporting youth, skilled artisans, young professionals, and women (DBN For Her).
