Metafund

A native of Southeastern Oklahoma with over 20 years of government and nonprofit experience, Ed Long co-founded and leads the Oklahoma Impact Investing Collaborative, a MetaFund subsidiary focused on Pay for Success financing, and oversees MetaFund's impact, communications, and government relations. He holds an MPA from the University of Oklahoma and completed Ph.D. coursework in political science.

Sarah Reed is President and CEO of MetaFund, having joined in 2014 in roles including EVP and CFO. A CPA with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accountancy from Oklahoma State University, she previously spent 11 years as a Senior Audit Manager at KPMG in Oklahoma City.

Jena Walla is the Accounting Manager at MetaFund, which she joined in 2016, handling month-end close, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial statements. She previously spent nine years at Vox Printing as Accounting and Employee Benefits Manager and two years at Chesapeake Energy as a lead accountant on a revenue accounting team. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Laura Hensley joined MetaFund in 2021, where she monitors and manages portfolio compliance with program and contractual requirements. She previously worked at Chesapeake Energy for ten years, spending two years in accounts payable and eight as a lease analyst in the land department. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

Linda Brinlee has 18 years of experience in public health and community initiatives and is originally from Latimer County. She previously worked as a Health Equity Specialist, Program Grant Consultant, and Community Drug Overdose Prevention Coordinator at the Oklahoma State Department of Health, and held roles at the Pittsburg County Health Department and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southeastern Oklahoma State College and an MBA/MPA from the University of Phoenix, and now leads rural initiatives focused on work, housing, and health outcomes in Oklahoma.

Steve Holmes is a CPA who joined MetaFund in 2023 as Assistant Controller and was promoted to Controller. He earned a BS in Business and Public Management from the State University of New York in Utica and previously worked as an auditor for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Before MetaFund, he spent about eight years at Griffin Media in roles up to Controller and Director of Financial Reporting, and also worked with the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

Yulia Taushanova joined MetaFund in April 2024 as Credit Manager, where she handles project underwriting, analyzes financial data, recommends loan structures, and supports the firm's business development officers. Before MetaFund, she spent over 20 years at BancFirst and other Oklahoma City banks, focusing on financial and credit analysis, equity financing, portfolio management, and leading a team of junior credit analysts. She holds an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Oklahoma and an undergraduate business degree from the American University in Bulgaria.

Blake Trippet is MetaFund's Chief New Markets Officer, financing projects that create jobs, affordable housing, community health, and child well-being via the federal New Markets Tax Credits program. He studied Finance and Entrepreneurship at the University of Oklahoma and previously worked as a derivatives trade management analyst at Goldman Sachs's asset management division.
