Mason Wells

Ben Holbrook is a Senior Managing Director with Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he sources investment opportunities, negotiates transactions, oversees due diligence, and serves on portfolio company boards; he sits on the Investment Committee for Buyout Funds IV and V. He joined the firm in 2005 after working as a research associate covering information security equities at Janney Montgomery Scott in Philadelphia. A Wisconsin native, he holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Brown University, completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, and competed for the U.S. Olympic Rowing Team at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Chris Markgraf is a Managing Director of Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he supports the funds' investment activities, including developing sector playbooks, sourcing and executing investment opportunities, and working with management teams on value-creation strategies. He has more than 25 years of private equity experience and joined Mason Wells in 2016, having previously served as Director of Private Equity at Stark Investments and as a Vice President at Summit Partners; he began his career in Oppenheimer & Co.'s Investment Banking Group in New York. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Providence College.

Chris Pummill is a Managing Director at Mason Wells, supporting the Buyout Funds' investment activities including developing sector playbooks, building relationships, and executing new investments alongside management teams. He joined Mason Wells in 2011 after serving as an Associate Intern at Thoma Bravo in Chicago and an Associate at Western Reserve Partners (now Citizens M&A Advisory) in Cleveland. He holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Business, cum laude, from Miami University (Ohio).

Thome is a Managing Director of Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he supports the funds' investment activities, including developing sector playbooks, building relationships with business owners and referral sources, sourcing and executing new investments, and working with management teams on value creation. He has more than 15 years of mergers & acquisitions and private equity experience and previously worked in the Investment Banking Group at Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis before joining Mason Wells in 2012. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Greg Myers is a Senior Managing Director of Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he supports the funds' investment activities including sourcing opportunities, negotiating transactions, overseeing due diligence, and serving on portfolio company boards. He is a member of the investment committee for Mason Wells Buyout Funds I-IV and has more than 35 years of private equity investing experience in middle-market companies. He began his career at Marshall & Ilsley's private equity arm in 1988 as an Investment Analyst and was part of the team that spun out in 1998; he holds an MBA from Marquette University and a BS from the University of Iowa.

Jay Radtke is Executive Managing Director of Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he leads the firm and its buyout fund investment activities, including sourcing deals, negotiating transactions, overseeing due diligence, and serving on portfolio company boards. He is Co-Chairman of the Investment Committees for Buyout Fund IV and Fund V. Before joining Mason Wells in 2006, he spent five years at Cornerstone Equity Investors in New York and three years as an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Vanderbilt University.

Kevin Kenealey is a Senior Managing Director of the Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he sources investment opportunities, negotiates transactions, oversees due diligence, and serves on portfolio company boards. He sits on the investment committee of each Mason Wells Buyout Fund and has more than 25 years of private equity experience. Before joining Mason Wells in 1999, he was an attorney in the private equity group at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago. He holds a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and undergraduate degrees in business administration and economics from the University of Minnesota.

Dan Shanahan is a Director with Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he supports investment activities including developing sector playbooks, building relationships with business owners and referral sources, sourcing and executing new deals, and working with management teams on value creation. He has more than 10 years of M&A and private equity experience and joined Mason Wells in 2018 after working as an Investment Banking Associate in Robert W. Baird's Industrial Group on middle-market M&A advisory. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Jacob Simons is a Vice President with Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he supports investment activities including sourcing opportunities, investment analysis, due diligence, debt financing negotiations, and working with portfolio company management. He joined Mason Wells in 2020, having previously worked as an Investment Banking Associate at JMP Securities in San Francisco, focusing on middle-market M&A advisory and capital raising. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Macalester College.

Michael Graves is a Director at Mason Wells, where he supports the buyout funds' investment activities including portfolio analysis, valuations, limited partner reporting, transaction negotiation, and serving on portfolio company boards. He joined Mason Wells in 2013 after working as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lazard's Minneapolis office and previously as an Audit Associate at KPMG. Tyler Reinecke is a Vice President with the Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he sources investment opportunities, performs new investment analysis and due diligence, negotiates debt financings, and works with portfolio company management teams. He joined Mason Wells in 2022 after working as an investment professional at Industrial Growth Partners, focusing on private equity in middle-market companies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Adam Webb is an Associate with Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he supports investment activities including new investment analysis, financial modeling, market research, due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. Before joining Mason Wells in 2026, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in Baird's Global Industrial Group in Milwaukee, focusing on middle-market M&A advisory. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting from Marquette University.

Brady Walsh is Director of Business Development at Mason Wells, where he sources investment opportunities and manages relationships with intermediaries for the firm's Buyout Funds and portfolio companies. Before joining in 2020, he was a Senior Consultant at Clerestory Consulting and previously a Senior Associate at PwC, earning his CPA in 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Marquette University.

Debbie Figueroa serves as Office Manager and Fund Administrator at Mason Wells, where she oversees administrative support staff, benefits administration, and office operations, and maintains fund and corporate records for the firm's buyout funds. She also assists the Executive Managing Director and supports the CFO with investor communications. Before joining the firm in 2017, she spent 22 years as Office Administrator/Controller at R&B Receivables Management Corporation in Waukegan, Illinois, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carthage College along with a paralegal certificate.

Drew Kneisel is an Associate with Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he supports investment activities including new investment analysis, financial modeling, market research, due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. Before joining Mason Wells in 2023, he worked as an Investment Banking Associate in Piper Sandler's Diversified Industrials & Services Group in Minneapolis, focusing on middle-market M&A advisory. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University.

Jeff Davidson is Managing Director of Research for Mason Wells Buyout Funds, where he leads industry diligence on new platform investments and provides economic and industry analysis to support the firm's investment and portfolio activity. He joined Mason Wells in 2015 after five years at Rexnord, an industrial component manufacturer, where he worked in corporate development research and commercial strategy roles, and previously worked at Boston strategy consulting firm Investor Group Services. He holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business and a BA in History from Dartmouth College.

Jim Domach is the Chief Financial Officer of Mason Wells, where he oversees the firm's accounting, tax, financial reporting, portfolio valuations, limited partner reporting, and investor relations, and serves on the Investment Committee of each Mason Wells Buyout Fund. Before joining the firm in 1998, he spent seven years as a loan audit manager in the Commercial Audit Group at Marshall & Ilsley (M&I) Corporation and previously worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA from Marquette University and a BBA from St. Norbert College, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jon Gladieux is Director of IT and Accounting Administrator at Mason Wells, where he oversees the firm's information systems and supports the CFO with accounting for the firm and its funds. He joined Mason Wells in 2007 after working as a Senior Software Engineer at Quad/Graphics in Sussex, Wisconsin. He holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and a BS in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington.

Katie Pawlowski serves as Administrative Assistant/Receptionist at Mason Wells, handling front-desk, office, and general administrative duties. Before joining the firm in 2023, she taught fifth-grade math and social studies at St. Roman Parish School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from Marquette University.

Lisa Bredeson is an Executive Administrator at Mason Wells, where she coordinates fund meetings, supports senior professionals, and handles travel arrangements, board meeting coordination, and reporting. She joined the firm in 2012 and previously worked as an Administrative Assistant at AXA Equitable and as an Operations Manager at Regus (IWG plc).
