Kohli Ventures is the personal investment vehicle of Tej Kohli, funded by liquidity from his sale of dot-com era payment-gateway companies. It focuses on growth-stage deep tech ventures in machine learning, robotics, smart sensors, biotech, esports and the enabling technologies of the AI economy. Its investment model is distinctive: Tej Kohli prefers to be the sole investor in a venture, working directly with founders, funding all future capital needs and providing intellectual capital support until exit. Two guiding tenets are exponential growth and social impact — opportunities must show a clear path to global-scale growth and/or humanitarian benefit.
