Investment thesis
Katalysen Ventures operates a distinctive turnaround-investing model, co-investing in companies with strong underlying potential that face structural, strategic, or operational hurdles. It buys in at attractive pre-turnaround valuations, applies targeted operational and strategic solutions in close collaboration with experts, entrepreneurs, and investors, and steers each venture toward a value-realizing exit within an ambitious two-to-four-year horizon. Headquartered in Stockholm and supported by a network of partners across Europe and beyond, the firm works with owner-led companies. Since late 2023 it has executed five transactions under this model, with five core investments representing over 70% of total value.
