Investment thesis
JetLend operates a crowdlending marketplace that provides non-purpose financing to Russian small and medium-sized businesses at rates from around 16.75%, used for wholesale/retail trade development, scaling production, or securing government and private contracts. Rather than traditional bank lending, it pools capital from many private individual investors to fund loans for eligible companies (LLCs and JSCs with at least 3 million rubles requested, annual revenue from 20 million rubles, operating for at least one year). Financing is generally unsecured but requires a guarantor, with preliminary decisions issued within minutes and funds disbursed within a few days.
