Marcelle Solda is a Program & Communications Specialist at Global Startups with over 15 years of experience in startup acceleration, program strategy, communications, and operations. She leads acceleration programs in Toronto focused on market entry, international expansion, and commercialization, working directly with founders on business model development, pitch strategy, and go-to-market planning. Previously, she held program management and consulting roles with organizations including Accenture Song and agencies serving multinational corporations.

Markus Schreyer is a German entrepreneur and biotech investor with over 30 years of international leadership experience across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. He founded and serves as Chairman of The Ganesha Lab, a biotech scale-up platform and venture capital ecosystem established in 2017 to accelerate Latin American startups into global markets, and manages The Ganesha Lab Fund I, which has completed eight early-stage biotech investments. Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Schreyer spent 25 years in senior leadership roles at global life sciences companies including Thermo Fisher Scientific and Fisons Instruments.

Peter Elkins is an advisor who works with founders, family offices, boards, and institutional investors on capital allocation, ownership strategy, succession planning, and commercialization decisions. His background encompasses entrepreneurship, venture capital, business transformation, employee ownership, and capital formation across private and public sectors. He engages clients through strategic questioning to identify hidden assumptions and opportunities, then helps design practical approaches to strengthen ownership structures and improve long-term value retention.

Rafael Pinto is Managing Director of Occasio International Advisory Services, where he provides strategic advisory, communication consulting, and training to companies and professionals operating across international markets. With over 24 years of experience working in 70+ countries, he focuses on addressing communication gaps, cultural alignment, and trust-building challenges that arise during cross-border business expansion and market entry. He works with organizations on strategy-execution alignment and with individual professionals on cross-cultural communication and leadership.

Valerie Fox is Chief Innovation Consultant at The Pivotal Point, which she founded to support community-based incubators globally. Previously, she co-founded the DMZ, a university business incubator launched in 2010 that ranked first in North America and third worldwide by 2015. With over 30 years in the digital sector, Fox has held design and innovation leadership roles at IBM, contributed to major projects including the Sydney Olympics, and holds five patents, including one for the Universal Shopping Cart for the Web.
