FI&FO
Family officeLuxembourg
Investment thesis
FI&FO operates as an independent multi-family office in Luxembourg, offering a 360-degree diagnostic of clients' personal, professional and estate situations. It co-builds bespoke strategic asset allocations aligned with each client's risk profile, then helps select financial partners and banks without conflicts of interest, leveraging pooled AUM volume across major financial actors. Services include consolidated reporting via a dedicated secure app, digital vaults, private markets and private equity opportunity sourcing, real estate acquisition and financing support, estate engineering, intergenerational transmission, family governance (family charter, family council, Family Lab), and day-to-day administrative and accounting management. FI&FO deliberately does not act as an asset manager to preserve its independence.

4DI Ventures was co-founded by repeat tech operator and ESET Southern Africa founder Justin Stanford, giving it unusually deep cybersecurity and software operating experience rather than a purely financial background, and originated from Stanford's own angel-investing experiments that directly led to both the firm's creation and the launch of the Silicon Cape Initiative. The firm explicitly describes its style as "nurture capital" with intensive, hands-on engagement, and Stanford is vocal about avoiding the "unicorn at all costs" mentality in African tech, instead emphasizing sustainable market readiness and fundamentals in a more conservative, durability-focused investment approach.
