Investment thesis
Expara focuses on venture creation in Southeast Asia, combining early-stage venture capital with acceleration, incubation, advisory, and entrepreneurship education. Since 2007 it has launched five venture capital funds in the region and invested in 92 companies. Its accelerator and incubator programs span 15 countries, supporting the growth of over 900 companies. The firm complements its investment activity with Expara Academy, delivering online learning, university courses, workshops, and bootcamps for entrepreneurs and investors, and with a proprietary innovation platform powering hackathons, challenges, and competitions.
