Peter Veldman is an Independent Board Member at EQT Group and serves as an Investment Committee Chair. He has worked in institutional and alternative asset management since 1998, with a background spanning institutional trading, family capital platform leadership and senior fund management governance in structures that grew from €18 billion to €120 billion in assets under management. His board and committee work focuses on capital allocation, valuation, fiduciary responsibility and governance, often in settings involving concentrated ownership and cross-border capital.

Head of the Health Economic Funds at EQT Life Sciences and Partner at EQT since 2022; previously a Partner at LSP (2012-2022, which became EQT Life Sciences), Managing Director at VIB in Belgium leading business development, and senior advisor at IWT. Holds a PhD in biotechnology from the University of Ghent.
