Investment thesis
Development Capital backs ambitious Irish SME management teams that have identified significant growth opportunities but need capital to accelerate or unlock them. Beyond funding, the firm brings market knowledge, experience and hands-on support to help maximise growth potential. It offers flexible investment structures via equity, quasi-equity or debt, and supports strategies including organic growth, production capacity expansion, bolt-on acquisitions, management buyouts and buy-ins, and shareholder restructurings. It typically invests between EUR 2 million and EUR 12 million for a five-year term in return for minority stakes. As a registered AIFM, the firm integrates ESG and sustainability risk assessment throughout its investment process.
