Investment thesis
Destiny created $DXYZ, an exchange-listed closed-end fund designed to provide public market investors with access to a portfolio of high-growth, venture-backed private technology companies that are normally only available to institutional or accredited investors. The fund, reported at roughly $1.6B, holds economic exposure to underlying private issuers, some acquired through special purpose vehicles. By listing on the NYSE, Destiny aims to democratize access to private technology companies, allowing everyday U.S. retail investors to buy and sell shares intraday while the market is open, with pricing reflected through market price and NAV per share.
