Investment thesis
Credicorp Capital operates private debt funds in Peru that channel institutional investor capital into the real economy. Its funds offer greater flexibility than traditional bank financing, including longer terms and grace periods. They give institutional investors access to soles-denominated private debt instruments they typically cannot reach, enabling portfolio diversification in the local market. The firm's second fund, Credicorp Capital Deuda Soles II, was increased to S/1,000 million. Across its two private debt funds, it consolidates over S/1,550 million in committed capital, of which more than 40% has been deployed across sectors such as education, hospitality, telecommunications, commercial real estate, mining contracting, retail, logistics, and agriculture.
