Investment thesis
CIP is the world's largest dedicated fund manager within greenfield energy investments, developing and constructing large, complex energy infrastructure projects. Through its funds it invests across power generation (solar and wind), energy storage, transmission and distribution, advanced bioenergy, low-carbon fuels, and carbon capture. It has established an energy pipeline of roughly 150 GW across technologies and geographies. Its Growth Markets Fund strategy targets high-growth, middle-income countries with strong power sector fundamentals and a need for critical energy infrastructure.
