Clessidra Capital Credit

Emanuele Cuccio is a Managing Director at Clessidra Private Equity, which he joined in 2008. He previously worked as a Financial Analyst in the M&A team at ABN AMRO, participating in Italian and international M&A transactions. Giulio Torregrossa is a Managing Director at Clessidra Private Equity, which he joined in 2011 as an associate and progressed to his current role. He has worked on deals across several sectors, including Camfin-Pirelli, Buccellati, Harmont & Blaine, Acetum, and Argea. Before Clessidra, he worked in London at Merrill Lynch & Co. in European M&A and Global Private Equity, and he holds a degree in Economics and Business Law and a master's in Finance from Bocconi University, with study periods at the University of Southern California and the University of New South Wales.

Marco Carotenuto is a Managing Director and board member at Clessidra Private Equity, which he joined in 2005. He previously worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank in London and Milan. He holds a degree with honors from Università Bocconi and completed further studies at the Wharton School.

Marco Guglielminetti joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR as Managing Director in 2025. He previously spent nearly 20 years in private equity at Investitori Associati, 21 Invest, and most recently as Partner at QuattroR, having begun his career in strategy consulting at Value Partners and Monitor Company. He holds a degree in management engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a master's in finance from London Business School.

Rebecka Swenson joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR in 2021 as Managing Director. She previously spent ten years at L Catterton's Italian team as a Managing Director, and before that nine years at BS Investimenti as an Investment Manager. She holds a degree in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Carlo Antonio Rubini joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR as an Associate in 2022. He previously spent three years at J.P. Morgan in London as an Analyst, working in Investment Banking Consumer & Retail and later Financial Sponsors, covering M&A, leveraged finance, and ECM mandates. He holds a Bachelor in Economics and Finance and a Master in Finance, both from Università Bocconi in Milan.

Davide Roveda joined Clessidra Private Equity in 2020 as an Associate. He previously spent three years at Goldman Sachs in London within the Industrial team, advising European clients on M&A and Capital Markets transactions, and three years at Bain & Company in Milan focused on strategic consulting and commercial due diligence. He holds a Master in Finance with honors from Università Bocconi and an MBA from INSEAD.

Francesca Giletta joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR S.p.A. in 2022 as an Associate. She previously worked on the investment team at HAT SGR and at Livingstone Partners, an independent investment banking boutique, and earlier served as a Consultant in Deloitte's financial advisory team, taking part in private equity and M&A transactions across sectors including healthcare, business services, consumer, and IT. She holds a Bachelor in Business Economics and a Master in Administration, Finance and Control from Università Bocconi in Milan.

Leonardo Biemmi joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR S.p.A. in 2022 as an Associate. He previously spent about a year at Lazard on the Italian investment banking team and nearly three years at Houlihan Lokey as an analyst in the Italian M&A and debt restructuring team, working on M&A, capital markets, leveraged finance, and debt restructuring mandates. He holds a Bachelor in Economics and Finance and a Master in Finance, both from Bocconi University in Milan.

Lorenzo Cascione joined Clessidra in 2021 as an Associate. He previously spent a year at Deutsche Bank in Investment Banking as a Vice President, and before that six years at Houlihan Lokey, working as an Analyst and then Associate in M&A and debt restructuring. He holds a degree in Economics & Management from Università La Sapienza and an MSc in Finance from Warwick Business School.

Mario Balestrazzi joined Clessidra Private Equity as an Investment Director in 2022. He previously worked at The Equity Club (a club deal initiative sponsored by Mediobanca and Italian entrepreneurial families) from 2020 to 2022, at Investindustrial's Lugano office from 2016 to 2020, and for five years at Rothschild on the Italian M&A advisory team. He holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master's in Administration, Finance and Control from Bocconi University in Milan.

Veronica Tognoli joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR S.p.A. in 2025 as a Vice President within the CCP Green Harvest fund. She previously worked as a Director on the investment team at Equinox, following a role in strategic consulting and commercial due diligence at OC&C, and began her career at EFESO Consulting as a Senior Consultant. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master in Management from Bocconi University in Milan, with M&A experience across food & consumer goods, fashion & luxury, and industrials.

Vittorio Basei joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR in 2022 as an Associate. Prior to that, he spent three years as an Analyst and Associate at J.P. Morgan in London within the Investment Banking Diversified Industries team, working on M&A mandates for European clients in the business services, automotive, and infrastructure sectors. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance and two master's degrees in Finance from Università Bocconi and the Stockholm School of Economics.

Federico Ghizzoni joined the group in 2017 and serves as Executive Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Clessidra Holding, as well as Chairman of Clessidra Capital Credit and Clessidra Factoring. He was previously CEO of the UniCredit Group from 2010 to 2016, where he held increasingly senior roles and international assignments across markets including Singapore, Poland, Turkey, Eastern Europe, and Austria.

Francesca Sacramone joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR in 2025 as an Analyst within the CCP Green Harvest fund. She previously worked briefly at BlackRock and then in the M&A Corporate and Financing team at Rothschild & Co in Milan, where she supported Italian companies in the consumer and industrial sectors on M&A and debt structuring transactions. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management and a master's in Accounting and Financial Management from Bocconi University in Milan.

Luca Vallini joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR in 2024 as an Analyst following an internship. He previously spent about two years as an Analyst in the Corporate Development and M&A team at ION Group in New York, where he worked on financial services due diligence and supported lender reporting and integration of the group's Italian division. He holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Materials Science and Innovation from Duke University in the United States.

Luciano Iannuzzi joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR S.p.A. (formerly Clessidra SGR S.p.A.) in 2017 and serves as Operating Managing Director and industry specialist for Industrial Goods & Services. He previously worked as a Senior Advisor at EY and held decades of international management roles, including CEO positions at FontanaArte, Technogym, Argenta Group, Artemide and Océ Group, Executive VP Strategy at Nice, and Executive Vice President EMEA at Ecolab. He speaks Italian, English and French.

Niccolò Battisti joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR in 2025 as an Analyst. He previously worked in private equity and M&A at Bregal Unternehmerkapital, in the M&A Mid Corporate & Financial Sponsors team at Mediobanca, and in the M&A team at KPMG. He holds a Bachelor in Economics and Management and a Master in Corporate Finance from LUISS Guido Carli in Rome, with an exchange program at HEC Paris.

Roberta Cocco joined Clessidra Private Equity SGR S.p.A. in 2023 as an IT/Digital Industry Specialist. She previously advised the Minister for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition under the Draghi government and served as councillor for digital transformation and civic services for the City of Milan. She spent 25 years at Microsoft in roles of increasing responsibility in Italy and abroad, and holds a degree from the University of Milan.

Rosario Bifulco joined the group in 2019 and serves as Vice Chairman of the board of Clessidra Private Equity, with a focus on the healthcare industry. He previously held the role of CEO of Mittel and has extensive experience in investments. Earlier in his career he held senior positions at Italian and international industrial and financial companies including Sorin, Lottomatica, Humanitas, Fiat Group, and DeA Capital.
