Daryl Cohen is a Partner at Capital D, where he sources and executes investment opportunities across the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands and works with portfolio companies. Before joining the firm he spent 16 years investing at firms including Inflexion, Vision Capital and Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, having begun his career at Goldman Sachs, with experience in equity and credit investing across many industries. He holds a first class degree in natural sciences from the University of Cambridge.

Jean-Marc Jabre co-founded Capital D in 2017, where he helps run the firm and leads coverage of investment opportunities across several countries. He began his investment career in 2000 at Morgan Stanley Venture Partners in Menlo Park, later spending ten years with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners in London and serving as Head of Private Equity for Morgan Stanley's fund in Europe. He holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD, a Master of Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University.

Laurent Nordin is a portfolio partner at Capital D, which he co-founded, and oversees value creation across the firm's investee companies while also leading its ESG efforts. He previously spent 22 years at McKinsey & Company, becoming a partner in 2001 and a senior partner for his final decade, and helped grow the firm's Middle East office in Dubai. Before McKinsey he worked as a turnkey project manager at Alcatel-Alsthom; he is an electrical engineer from Centrale-Supelec and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Qi Wang is a consultant specializing in data science, AI, and product innovation, covering the process from raw data to product through insights extraction and AI product building. He previously served as Chief Data Officer at Qmee, a Capital D portfolio company, overseeing its ML/AI products and business analytics, and after Qmee's acquisition by Kantar he continued in data science at Kantar, working on AI product development with the Microsoft team. He holds a PhD in Digital Signal Processing and Machine Learning from the University of Newcastle.

Stephan Lobmeyr is co-founder and investment partner at Capital D, where he leads coverage of investment opportunities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before Capital D, he spent 12 years as a deal partner at Change Capital Partners investing in mid-market consumer and retail companies across Europe, and earlier served as a director at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, where he helped set up its European operations. He also worked six years as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and holds an MBA from IESE Barcelona and an undergraduate commerce degree from Wirtschaftsuniversitaet Vienna.

Betty Andersson is an Investment Manager at Capital D who focuses on technology-led businesses across Northern Europe, particularly the Nordic region. Before joining the firm, she was an investment professional at Charterhouse Capital Partners, working on European mid-market buyouts in the education, professional services, and technology services sectors, and earlier worked in J.P. Morgan's Nordic M&A team. She holds an MSc in Finance and a CEMS Master's in International Management from Stockholm School of Economics / National University of Singapore, as well as a BSc in Business & Economics from Stockholm School of Economics.

Lucas Angibeau is an Investment Manager at Capital D, part of the Jacquard Team, where he sources and executes tech and tech-enabled investments in France and southern Europe. He previously worked in Tech M&A investment banking at Arma Partners, advising on software transactions, and held earlier roles at Raymond James in Paris and Dean Street and LGT Capital Partners in London. He holds an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and a B.Sc. from Reading University.

James Bidwell is a strategic partner and founding team member at Capital D, with executive experience across several industries and a focus on innovation and sustainability. He wrote the 2017 book "Disrupt! 100 lessons in business innovation," which informs the firm's thesis on disruption as a driver of value. His prior roles include CMO at Selfridges, CEO of Anthropologie Europe, and Visit London.

Sophie Bidwell is a strategic partner and founding team member at Capital D, where she served on the Investment Committee of Fund 1 and leads thematic deep dives. She previously worked in banking and private equity focused on retail and consumer goods at Goldman Sachs, Change Capital Partners and HgCapital, and later co-founded two strategy consultancies, eNova and Re_Set. She is an owner-director of Re_Set and works as a facilitator and speaker on innovation, technology and sustainability.

Alexandra Zou is a Portfolio Associate at Capital D, working on value creation across the firm's investee companies. She was previously a consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants and Aon, advising corporate and private equity clients on strategy and commercial due diligence, and earlier worked in actuarial pricing at Munich Re and equity research at Jefferies. She holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, an MSc in Risk and Finance from the London School of Economics, and a BSc in Economics and Actuarial Science from the University of Southampton.

Bertie Maher joined Capital D in 2024 and works on tech and tech-enabled businesses across Western Europe. He was previously a Senior Investment Analyst at SellerX in London, working on mid-market growth buyout transactions in e-commerce and software across the US and Europe, and has held roles at 17Capital, EY, and Capita Scaling Partner. He holds an MSc in Management from the London School of Economics and a BA (Hons) in Politics & Philosophy from the University of Manchester, and is also an angel investor.

Bill Boorman has worked in the recruiting and talent sector for over four decades, beginning at a recruiting agency and later serving as a board director of a multi-office staffing company. He founded Tru, an event series for recruiting and HR professionals held across many countries, and has advised recruitment and HR technology start-ups and growth companies, with several advisory-company exits. He works on the evolution of hiring and HR, having led work with organizations including Hard Rock Cafe, BBC, Oracle, KPMG, and Naspers.

Claudia Codinachs is an Executive Assistant and Office Manager at Capital D, where she provides administrative and operational support to the team. She previously held Executive Assistant and Office Manager roles at Nauta Capital and Baker McKenzie. She earned a BA in Fine Art from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Jane Silber has a software engineering background and holds an M.B.A. from Oxford University. She previously served as CEO of Canonical, the company behind the Ubuntu operating system, where she remains a non-executive director. Her career spans multiple industries, including roles as Executive Chair at Diffblue and CEO at Canonical.

Michael Baker began his career as a lawyer before moving into operating and entrepreneurial roles, and he now works as an investor. He helped take internet data company Engage through its IPO, co-founded and led Enpocket (acquired by Nokia), Nexage (acquired by Verizon) and DataXu (acquired by Roku), and contributed to an early digital data-privacy self-regulatory framework. His work centers on the application of data, analytics and AI.

Panagiotis Kourampas is a member of the finance team at Capital D, based in Luxembourg, where he focuses on fund reporting and Luxembourg fund structures. Before joining the firm, he spent over six years as a Manager at Ernst & Young, handling reporting for private equity funds. He holds a B.A. from Athens University of Economics and Business and an MSc in Accounting and Financial Management from the Rotterdam School of Management.

Patrick Walker is an Operating Partner whose career spans media, technology, and innovation. A former BBC foreign news journalist, he became YouTube's first international employee and led its expansion into more than 80 countries, later serving as CEO of Rightster and holding senior roles at Intel, Google, and Facebook. He co-founded the micro-learning app Uptime in 2019 and the longevity social club Longevity House, and advises Electrify Video Partners on creator business growth.

Peter Kruppa is the CFO and compliance officer of Capital D, overseeing finance matters and fund reporting. He previously spent 18 years at DH Private Equity Partners (formerly Doughty Hanson), most recently as CFO, and earlier worked at INVESCO investing in private equity in Central and Eastern Europe. He began his career at Price Waterhouse, where he qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA and FCA), holds the ASIP designation, is a member of the CFA Institute, and earned BA and MA degrees from the University of Cambridge.

Rich Waterworth is an Operating Partner focused on the media and technology sectors. He served as General Manager for TikTok in Europe/EMEA from 2019 to 2024 and previously led Marketing for YouTube across EMEA for nearly a decade, with earlier senior marketing roles at ITV where he launched the ITV Player and YouView. He is currently studying the societal impacts of tech and AI at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, and advises and invests in tech, media, and marketing services startups.

Rob Brouwer is CEO of Jobrapido, which he joined in 2014, and has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles across the recruitment industry. He previously served as Managing Director of Jobline.nl from 2000 and spent 12 years as Executive Vice President at Monster Worldwide, leading European operations and overseeing expansion across Europe, Africa, and Latin America. He has held non-executive roles at several companies in the sector and currently sits on boards at Cohelion and VONQ.

Rosabel Kilgour leads investor relations and fundraising at Capital D. She previously worked in investor relations at Sprints and on the primaries team at placement agent Campbell Lutyens, where she helped raise capital for private equity, private credit, and infrastructure funds. She holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol.

Scott Zalaznik is an advisor, angel investor, and executive focused on digital transformation, marketing, and strategy, with expertise across digital, data, brand strategy, and consumer engagement. He is currently CEO of BLACKROLL, and previously served as Chief Digital Officer at adidas, SVP of Digital at Michael Kors, and GM of Digital at Sprint. He is an American based in Europe.

Stephen Collins is a C-suite executive and board director focused on marketing technology, with over 35 years of experience across start-ups, scale-ups, and private and public companies. He began his career at PwC as a qualified accountant before holding CFO and CEO roles at companies including DoubleClick, Juris, Bazaarvoice, Quantcast, and Monetate. He now holds several non-executive positions, including chair roles at Wunderkind and Jacquard and a directorship at Skai.io.

Tim Shey has worked in the tech and media industries for over two decades. He was VP of Original Content at Duolingo, where he developed the company's characters and intellectual property and led work on podcasts, video, animation, and interactive stories, and previously served as Head of Scripted Originals and in creator-focused roles at YouTube. Earlier he co-founded Next New Networks (acquired by YouTube in 2011) and Proteus (acquired by Telitas in 2004), and he currently advises and invests in creator economy, AI, and creative technology companies, including as a venture partner at TMV.
