Investment thesis
Cannon Capital specializes in developing adolescent companies into elite organizations by building the processes and infrastructure needed for sustainable growth. The firm applies best practices drawn from turnarounds and startups to both established and pre-profit companies, helping management teams exploit changing market dynamics to create competitive advantages. An in-house research department identifies and evaluates attractive business models and markets, supporting both new-investment evaluation and portfolio strategic planning. Rather than operating its companies or acting as board-level-only investors, Cannon collaborates directly with management, using a proprietary onboarding process for new investments and building out management teams where appropriate. The firm tailors its support to each company's lifecycle and situation.
