Matthew Claughton is a Partner, Head of the Operations Group, and Co-Head of ESG at BGH Capital. He previously spent five years at KKR Capstone as Managing Director and Head of KKR Capstone Asia, where he led value creation efforts across Australia and New Zealand and served on KKR's Asia Private Equity Portfolio Management Committee and KKR Capstone's Global Operating Committee. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Pacific Brands, Foster's Group Limited, and McKinsey & Company, and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Melbourne.

Oliver Bowler is the founder and Program Director of the Family Business Institute, an educational platform for business families and their advisors, and the founder of Family Business Week. He created and hosts the CNN Family Business Week TV show and previously founded and led a boutique executive search firm focused on privately owned enterprises. Working with entrepreneurial families, leaders, and advisors since 2014, he holds the ACFBA certification from the Family Firm Institute, completed in 2015.

James Garforth is a Partner at Helion Partners with over 20 years of experience advising entrepreneurs, owners, management teams, private equity firms and corporates on mergers and acquisitions, corporate sales, MBO/Is and capital markets. His transaction experience spans sectors including creative and digital agencies, corporate and financial PR, healthcare communications, digital media and e-commerce, live entertainment, and broadcast and post production. Selected mandates include the sale of PointLogic to Nielsen, the sale of Moonpig to Photobox, the acquisition of Ocean Outdoor by Searchlight Capital, and advising The Engine Group on a £30m fund raise and 14 acquisitions; he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte Corporate Finance.

David Ellis is an Investment Manager at Cur8 Capital, where he leads private equity investments for a firm managing over $200 million in assets. He began his career on a five-year school-leaver program at KPMG, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with ICAS, and subsequently spent five years in BDO's M&A team advising mid-market businesses on strategy and acquisitions. He holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham.

Dhruv Misra is a Senior Procurement Manager at BGH Capital. His background spans supply chain functions including product design, development, manufacturing, and delivery, along with strategic sourcing and cross-functional team management.

Emma Cahill is Executive General Manager of Data Analytics & Pricing at BGH Capital, where she works with private equity-backed businesses on value creation. Her background includes experience in advanced analytics and strategy, and she previously worked at McKinsey.

Graeme Burns is Executive Director of Technology and Digital at BGH Capital, with more than 17 years of experience in strategy and transformation across capital markets, financial services, enterprise software, media, and telecommunications. He was previously a Partner at BCG, holding senior roles in its Technology, Media & Telecom and Digital practices. His work spans FTSE, S&P, and ASX 100 companies as well as private equity and venture capital-backed organizations across Australia, the UK and Ireland, Europe, and North America.

Matt Gilbert is Climate Manager at BGH Capital. A graduate of the London School of Economics and the University of Cambridge, he previously worked in sustainability at PwC. He has more than eight years of experience advising public and private sector clients on climate, nature, and net zero matters.

Melinda Chaponnel serves as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at BGH Capital. Her work covers structured transactions, financial services regulation and compliance, investment fund establishment and operation, commercial contracting, and corporate governance. In her compliance role, she oversees the development and implementation of internal risk, governance, and compliance frameworks, delivers internal training, and advises executive leadership on transactional and advisory matters.

Nathan Huang is Executive General Manager of Data Analytics & Pricing at BGH Capital, where he works with private equity–backed businesses on growth and performance improvement. His background includes advanced analytics and strategy, with prior experience at McKinsey.

Nick Harrison is cofounder and CEO of Tractor Ventures, which provides revenue-based financing for technology companies, and serves as a Non Executive Director at both Private Media Group and FinTech Australia. He previously led SBE Australia, cofounded the marketplace Occasional Butler (acquired by Airtasker) and depo8 coworking, and spent nine years as General Manager for fashion designer Leona Edmiston, in addition to account management roles at Ericsson Australia and NCR Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from the University of Western Sydney and a Master's in Financial Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Sam Murray is Executive Director of Technology and Digital at BGH Capital, with over 17 years of experience leading strategy and transformation initiatives across sectors including capital markets, financial services, enterprise software, media, and telecommunications. A former BCG Partner in the firm's Technology, Media & Telecom and Digital businesses, Murray has advised executives and boards at FTSE, S&P, and ASX 100 companies as well as private equity and venture capital-backed organizations across Australia, the UK and Ireland, Europe, and North America. Murray has also held interim leadership roles in operations, transformation, product, and technology.
