The Avalanche Foundation supports the growth of the Avalanche blockchain ecosystem through funding programs, research grants, and community initiatives. It backs builders, developers, and businesses building on Avalanche's high-performance, customizable network across use cases such as DeFi, gaming, NFTs, enterprise and consumer apps, institutions and capital markets, and infrastructure. Programs include the Retro9000 builder rewards, Avalanche Team1 community program, and research grants (up to $50,000) focused on network economics and validator incentive design. The Foundation aims to bring both Web2 and crypto-native organizations onchain and expand adoption of the AVAX token and the broader network.
