AUGE-UCR is a university-based agency of the University of Costa Rica supporting early-stage entrepreneurs with dynamic-growth potential. Through its StartupGo Idear (pre-incubation) and StartupGo Crear (incubation) programs, it helps founders build and validate business models via structured modules, business coaching and e-learning. As an operating agency of Costa Rica's Development Banking System (SBD), it provides access to non-reimbursable seed funds for prototyping and market launch, administered directly by the agency. It also runs the CREA-C consortium program for regional PYME/PYMPA associative projects in culture, tourism and local sustainable production, aiming to dynamize Costa Rica's entrepreneurship ecosystem.
