Investment thesis
AUGE-UCR supports early-stage entrepreneurs with dynamic-growth potential through structured accompaniment programs (StartupGo Idear for pre-incubation and StartupGo Crear for incubation), business coaching, and e-learning tools to help founders build and validate viable business models. As an operating agency of Costa Rica's Development Banking System (SBD), it channels non-reimbursable seed capital funds for prototyping and market launch to qualifying dynamic ventures. It also runs the CREA-C consortium program for associative SME/cultural projects. Its aim is to democratize access to knowledge and strengthen Costa Rica's and the region's entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, promoting inclusive and sustainable development.
