Investment thesis
AUC Angels positions itself as the first university-based angel investor network in the Middle East and Africa, created to close the funding gap for early-stage technology startups. Working in partnership with AUC Venture Lab, it gives its angel members access to a vetted pipeline of scalable startups that have launched products and shown market traction. Beyond capital, members act as mentors and co-builders, supporting portfolio companies with advisory services and fundraising. The network provides an investment process with deal sourcing, due diligence, and term mediation, plus ecosystem events and training on early-stage investing.
