Artgen Seed Fund
Venture capitalPre-Seed–Seed
Investment thesis
The fund addresses the gap in private seed and angel financing for early-stage startups and R&D in Russia, where government support exists but institutional private capital at the earliest stages is scarce. It aims to select and finance up to 10 of the most promising projects each year, supporting teams from the idea stage through building a minimum viable product and initial market entry. Leveraging the industry expertise of the Artgen Biotech team, the fund initially plans to invest its own capital, while noting growing interest from other investors in its expertise.
