Marc-Antoine Cantin holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from McGill University (1996) and completed graduate studies in accounting at Concordia University, earning his CA/CPA designation in 1998. He began his career as an external auditor at Ernst & Young in Montreal, and in 1999 acquired SBI - Fabricant de poêles international inc. with his brother, growing it into one of North America's largest stove and fireplace manufacturers. He is a graduate of the ICD - Rotman School of Management's Directors Education Program and an active member of Anges Québec.

Innovation financing professional with over 35 years of experience; helped build National Bank's tech company financing group, co-founded the Anges Québec network in 2010 and created Archimède Solutions in 2011.

Charles Xavier Owens is an Investment Associate at Anges Québec, supporting entrepreneurs and investors in life sciences, medtech, biotech, cleantech, and advanced manufacturing, with responsibilities in structuring financings and due diligence. Before joining the firm, he worked with the MEDTEQ+ INVEST fund on venture capital investments in health technologies and gained experience in mid-market mergers and acquisitions. He holds a B.Sc. in Finance and Economics from Université de Sherbrooke, is completing a DESS in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at HEC Montréal, and has earned the FMVA certification.

Ismael Alaoui holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialization in finance from HEC Montréal. He completed an internship at CDPQ, where an encounter with the venture capital team at Espace CDPQ prompted his interest in the field. He works as an Investment Analyst and has founded several of his own projects.

Nicolas Mathy has served as Director of Relations with Portfolio Companies at Anges Québec since May 2018, where he supports entrepreneurs and angel investors. He previously spent nearly six years as General Delegate of Forinvest Business Angels, a French network of forest owners investing in forestry and wood-sector startups, and founded the Horse Angels network focused on equine-sector startups. He holds a Master's in Entrepreneurship from EDC Paris Business School and earlier founded and ran Finance & Entreprises, a consulting firm advising organizations on business development, marketing strategy and financing.

Rim Slaoui manages member recruitment, onboarding, and engagement at Anges Québec, an angel investor network in Canada, with over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, strategic leadership, and community building. Before joining the firm, she held senior leadership and advisory roles at Adecco, Indeed, Randstad, SSENSE, and Morgan Stanley (via NTT Data). She also leads workshops, webinars, and executive sessions on employer branding, talent strategy, and candidate experience.

Roger Gédéon joined Anges Québec as an Investment Associate in June 2024, where he sources and evaluates investment opportunities, presents them to the investment committee, and manages ecosystem relationships with VC funds, accelerators, incubators, and innovation centers. Previously, he led startup recruitment at the Creative Destruction Lab and worked as an account manager at Montreal-based tech company Workleap. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Management from Concordia University.

Vicky Marion holds a marketing degree from Bishop's University and has more than 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, project management, and operations within small businesses and growing organizations. Before joining Anges Québec, she founded her own company and held management roles in SMEs. She follows the Quebec startup ecosystem and has an interest in gender equity in venture capital and impact investing.

Antony Acciarri is a Partner at i4 Capital focused on early-stage deep technology investments. He has experience leading investments across multiple stages, including start-ups and growth capital, with involvement in M&A and liquidity events. He works with entrepreneurs, management teams, and institutional stakeholders on strategic implementation and organizational development.

Co-founded Triotech Amusement in 1999, a designer and manufacturer of next-generation amusement park rides with 400+ attractions in 70+ countries. Frédéric Bastien is co-founder and managing partner at Amiral Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on Canadian early-stage technology companies, and an active angel investor. He previously co-founded and served as CEO of Mnubo, an artificial intelligence platform for the Internet of Things that was acquired by Aspen Technology in 2019, and earlier held roles at Blueslice Networks, Nortel, and Teleglobe. Bastien is Chairman of the Board at Anges Quebec, an advisor to Quebec Tech, and a recipient of the 2014 EY Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year award for Quebec, the 2023 Mentor of the Year at the Startup Community Awards, and the 2024 Angel Investor of the Year award.

Lyne Landry is founding and managing partner of AgeTech Capital. She brings over 20 years of professional experience in impact investing, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity across global markets.

Mike Ryan is a DevOps Engineer at 1kx, where he operates staking infrastructure for decentralised networks and builds data analysis tooling to support decision-making. Before 1kx he worked with organisations ranging from early-stage startups to multinationals in regulated industries, helping them scale their cloud architecture and development processes.
