What is a Series C round?

Series C and beyond are expansion capital for companies with established businesses: entering new markets, acquisitions, or scaling ahead of an exit. The investor mix broadens to growth funds, crossovers, and strategics.

Later letters (D, E, F…) carry no fixed meaning beyond sequence; what matters is whether successive rounds mark genuine progress or repeated attempts to reach the same milestone.
