Zinkee

Zinkee is a cloud-based project and operations management platform used by service companies in fields such as consulting, agencies, installation, construction and solar self-consumption. It centralizes budgets, tasks, time tracking, purchases, supplier invoices, expenses, document management and invoicing in a single system so that project information is available and updated in real time, positioned as a replacement for spreadsheet-based control.

The product covers the full project lifecycle: opportunity management, budget creation with versioning and historization, time and attendance recording including holidays, direct and indirect personnel costs, purchasing and subcontracting, task assignment, Kanban boards, Gantt-style planning, contextual collaboration, milestone certification and invoicing. Customizable dashboards aggregate data across projects to produce KPIs such as profitability by service, cost evolution by resource type and performance by business line, and users can define indicators, alerts and automatic rules to react to deviations. Capacity and demand planning tools derive required resource profiles from project budgets, highlight over-allocation or subcontracting needs, and support scenario analysis when project parameters change.

The platform is designed to be configured by business teams themselves rather than by developers or consultants, and offers an API for integration with ERPs and other systems. Zinkee states it is backed by the Sociedad Española para la Transformación Tecnológica (SETT), a Spanish public business entity, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union.

Founding story

According to the company, Zinkee originated from operational consulting work, where its founders observed that companies needed better ways to manage growing volumes of data and users, leading them to build a no-code platform on which business teams could construct their own applications without depending on developers.
