Xyte

Xyte develops a cloud platform for managing connected hardware, marketed as Xyte Device Cloud (XDC). For enterprise AV/IT teams the platform provides a single interface for viewing and controlling devices across rooms and spaces, covering cloud-connected and locally networked equipment, with real-time status, centralized firmware updates, scheduled reboots and recurring commands, 24/7 health checks, and analytics on fleet trends, incident spikes and MTTR across spaces, vendors and models. Space-level telemetry includes occupancy, power and temperature. An "AI Teammate" component diagnoses issues and recommends resolutions for operator approval, and a command-line interface (Xyte CLI) plus an MCP server give AI agents scriptable access to the fleet. No-code integrations connect to IT tooling such as ServiceNow, Slack and Salesforce.

For device and hardware manufacturers, the platform was built to "cloudify," service, support and commercialize connected products, managing the full device lifecycle from shipment through customer deployment and aftermarket sales, and enabling usage-based and other as-a-service business models. The company describes itself as software-only, supplying manufacturers the cloud layer needed to shift from selling products to selling services; one cited example is a manufacturer offering home heating thermostat systems on subscription rather than outright purchase. Founding story

Co-founders Omer Brookstein and Boris Dinkevich met through an online forum for alumni of the IDF's 8200 unit and started the company in 2020. Brookstein had spent over a decade in various roles at Crestron Electronics, a US workplace-technology corporation, while Dinkevich came from a software development background.

It also published a midyear Xyte Labs data report combining industry polling with anonymized platform data on cross-vendor context for AI-powered AV operations.
