Company profile

researched Sep 2026

Wiseair is an Italian company, founded in Milan in 2019 by four engineering students of the Politecnico di Milano, that supplies data intelligence for commuting and corporate mobility management. Its current offering is a digital platform for the Mobility Manager, organised into three modules: Compliance (collection of mobility profiles through an employee web app, automated drafting of the PSCL home-to-work commuting plan as an editable .docx with territorial annexes, monitoring programme and impact indicators, a site registry, a catalogue of mobility measures, CO2 exports based on ISPRA (Italy) and DESNZ (UK) methodologies, and multi-user role-based access); Enablement (map-based territorial analysis with isochrones and geographic clusters, cohort segmentation by distance, mode, travel time and modal-shift potential, predictive scenario simulation on times, costs and emissions, automatic smart pooling for carpool crews, computed fields and multi-modal layers covering public transport, cycling, shared mobility and EV charging); and Engagement (the Mobility Connect web app offering employees personalised proposals, a dashboard with rewards and impact tracking, trip check-ins and reminders).

Alongside the platform, Wiseair sells five consulting-style analyses delivered by its team on top of its GIS technology: district-level analysis across companies and municipalities, site relocation impact studies, company shuttle optimisation, mobility services for shift workers, and local public transport optimisation including demand/supply gap analysis and support in negotiations with local authorities.

The company began with a different product: the Arianna sensor, initially a plant pot with an IoT air-quality sensor powered by a plant and later by a solar panel, distributed on citizens' balconies in Milan, Turin and Rome as a citizen-science network measuring PM1, PM2.5, PM4 and PM10 along with atmospheric parameters. This evolved into "ido", a sensor infrastructure plus dashboard with real-time data, trends, analyses and automatic reports sold to municipalities under annual contracts, before the company moved into workplace mobility.
