How did your company get started? (i.e., How did the founders meet? How did you come up with the idea? How did you decide to be a founder?)

Both founders grew up near Toronto and studied Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, but first met while interning together at Neuralink in their junior year. They built the first Steinmetz inverter during their senior year and have since worked on low- and high-voltage automotive systems at Tesla, with combined experience spanning GPUs, space systems, neural interface ICs, large databases, rail systems, and consumer electronics firmware.

What is your long-term vision? If you truly succeed, what will be different about the world?

The founders aim to accelerate adoption of electric vehicles across planes, trains, cars, and boats by improving performance while lowering cost and volume, with the goal of matching or beating combustion-engine vehicles on all metrics.
