Technology

Proprietary AI-powered technology for identity threat detection, response and recovery across Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta and (via MightyID) Ping. Capabilities include continuous monitoring with regularly updated indicators of exposure, pattern-based attack detection, detection of attacks that bypass conventional logging, automated undo of malicious or unauthorized directory changes, Tier 0 attack path discovery, non-human and agentic identity discovery and control, and automated malware-free forest recovery. A Canadian innovation center in Kanata, Ontario houses threat intelligence, data science and technology integration teams supporting AI-based detection, while Semperis Labs in Ramat Gan is the R&D engine.

History

Semperis introduced its cyber-first, automated Active Directory Forest Recovery (ADFR) approach in 2015. In 2020 it raised a $40M Series B led by Insight Partners following six consecutive profitable quarters, bringing total funding at that point to $54M. In 2022 it raised more than $200M in a Series C led by KKR, was cited by the Financial Times as the fastest-growing cybersecurity company in America, and ranked among the top five fastest-growing U.S. cybersecurity companies on the Inc. 5000 list (No. 186 overall, three-year growth above 2,800%). It secured $125M in growth financing in 2024 at a valuation above $1 billion, surpassed $100M in ARR in January 2025, launched the Ready1 crisis response platform in April 2025, and acquired cloud identity resilience specialist MightyID in February 2026.
